Manager, Marketing and Vendor Management
Johnstone Supply / The Grimme Group, recognized leaders in wholesale distribution of HVACR equipment and supplies, are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable individual to create and manage marketing strategies/programs and vendor relationships in the combined MSA markets of Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Charleston, WV.
Primary responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing strategies and programs that drive the sales and revenue objectives of the company, market analysis and vendor selection; creation / development of strategic vendor relationships, investment, pricing, analysis of vendor performance, and inventory sourcing to support our supply chain needs that are vital to our business plans.
Position requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business is required.
- Industrial sales and marketing experience of 15+ years in a multi-branch company.
- Specific past experience oversight of small and large branch operation.
- Applicable industrial wholesale merchandising / distribution work experience in HVAC/R, Plumbing, Electrical, or MRO environments.
- A strong business acumen and understanding of company financials.
- Excellent verbal and written skills including formal presentation skills for small and large groups.
