Automated Logic Corporation is looking for smart people to assist the
Engineering Lead or Project Manager in the development of scope of work,
engineering documents, software, and programming necessary to implement
the project. The successful candidate may communicate directly with the
customer and/or outside engineering consultants to confirm project
requirements and otherwise ensure the project is implemented to the
satisfaction of the customer. In general this position is responsible
for all technical aspects of the project.

Duties
Summary:
Design engineering for mission critical control & monitoring system
projects including:
- Produce design drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation for
multiple or single large mission critical projects.
- Work with the client and consulting engineer to meet and exceed the
client' expectations.
- Work with the Project Manager to coordinate material ordering.
- Perform site visits to observe existing conditions and develop design
recommendations.
- Review construction drawings and specifications.
- Provide technical assistance to field technicians, contractors, and
client.
- Work with the Software Engineer to ensure the system design and
software are in complete sync.
- Support startup and checkout activities, including third-party
commissioning.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- AA/AS degree with 5-10+ years applicable
experience
- BA/BS degree with 2-5+ years applicable experience
- MA/MS degree with 0-2+ years applicable experience
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management or Engineering with a minimum of
ten years engineering experience in the building controls industry,
including a minimum of three years project engineering experience in
mission critical projects.
Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of building control and monitoring systems,
including ancillary systems and products such as valves and dampers.
- Extensive knowledge of third-party integration concepts with experience
in BACnet, LON, and Modbus as a minimum.
- Expertise in Visio (preferred) or AutoCad.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
